Abstract Submission Instructions
To submit an abstract, first create your user profile. Once your profile has been created, select "My Submissions" from the dropdown menu under your name and follow the instructions to submit your abstract.
Presentation Formats
Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format during submission. The symposium will include the following presentation types:
Standard Oral Presentation
10 minutes total
8-minute presentation
2-minute Q&A
Lightning Talk
5 minutes total
3-minute presentation
2-minute Q&A
Poster Presentation
Please indicate your preferred presentation format when submitting your abstract. Final presentation assignments will be determined by the symposium committee based on abstract quality, relevance to the symposium theme, session balance, and the total number of submissions received.
Who Should Submit?
Students, faculty, industry professionals, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community partners are encouraged to submit abstracts. We welcome contributions that highlight innovative research, applied solutions, industry perspectives, workforce needs, and opportunities for collaboration that advance sustainable coastal development and resilience.
Presentation Equipment
A podium, microphone, projector, and laptop will be provided for all oral presentations.
