Program at a Glance

The 2026 Coastal Solutions Symposium will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM in the University Center Anchor Ballroom at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.

This one-day symposium will bring together students, researchers, faculty, industry professionals, agencies, nonprofits, and community partners to share ideas, highlight applied research, and build connections that support coastal resilience and sustainability.

The program will include oral presentations, rapid poster highlights, a plenary keynote, an interactive poster and industry engagement lunch, career development support, and an evening career networking reception. The schedule below is a draft and may be updated as the program is finalized.

Presentation and Poster Format

The symposium will feature themed presentation sessions that combine standard oral presentations, rapid-fire talks, and an interactive poster session.

Poster Specifications

Posters should be printed in portrait orientation and must not exceed 24 inches wide × 36 inches tall (61 × 91 cm).

This size allows us to maximize participation while providing ample space for networking and discussion during the poster session.

Presenters are encouraged to use concise text, high-quality figures, and a clear visual layout to facilitate engaging conversations with attendees.

Career Prep Zone

The Career Prep Zone, offered in collaboration with TAMU-CC Career Services, will be available throughout the symposium. Attendees can stop by for career guidance, résumé feedback, professional development support, and professional headshots.
